NAVES is the National Federation of Associations of Ship's Agents and Brokers of Belgium. The association defends the professional interests of its members.  Each of these members groups in turn the local shipping agents.

NAVES is a member of FONASBA (Federation of National Association of Ship Brokers and Agents) and its European division ECASBA (European Community Association of Ship Brokers and Agents).

Within the Employers Federation of International Trade, Transport and Related industries has NAVES different mandates: amongst other in the Board of Directors and the working group "Job Classification".

The secretariat is provided by the Antwerp Shipping Federation.
